Prague’s largest Gay Event – Prague Pride
Prague held its first gay pride in 2011 and was an instant success with around one million people attending the 7 day event. This year its set to be even better and more organized, with more parties and more acts on stage. The event focuses on the rights of gay people especially in Central Europe. Guest lectures and cultural events take pride of place and side by side with circuit parties, concerts and exhibitions.
The main parade takes place on the last Saturday of the event, normally during the second week of August.
